R48 Presents: 48 Adventures, Vol. 1

At Roastery 48, we're all about living life to the fullest by going on spontaneous adventures across the world (and drinking coffee while doing it, of course.) That's why every week, we'll be posting the adventures from the R48 community, and their experiences with our coffee.

To start off our first week, we dive into the hiking scene with Nancy, a dedicated hiker and coffee enthusiast who also happens to be a loyal customer of ours! This past summer, she took a trip to Sedona, Arizona, famous for its beautiful scenery and enticing trails, one of which is the "Devil's Bridge Trail".

Known for its incredible natural infrastructure, the Devil's Bridge Trail provides an amazing view of the mountains across the horizon while creating a unique walkway which can be appreciated from above and below. "It's crazy what can result from thousands of years of rock formation" says Nancy. "This trail definitely had me fueled up!"

Despite her excitement, she wanted some fresh coffee to get her through the hike and more. You're probably asking, what type of coffee did she drink? "Well this is the 'Devil's Bridge' after all. Might as well drink some 'Devilish Decaf' from Roastery 48 for consistency!"

Upon beginning the trail, she mentions how it starts off very wide and then becomes narrower and more difficult to maneuver in. "I was a bit scared that the trail would be too easy, but was relived as I worked my way up".

After a few hours of traversing through the hike, she finally made it to the top and took this awesome photo!

"Honestly, the coffee had me feeling some type of way and motivated me to make that pose for the picture!" says Nancy, "This was an amazing experience already, but the coffee made it much better! I'd definitely recommend the "Devilish Decaf" flavor and this trail to anyone!"
